A Great Variety Of Things To Do In Killarney, Ireland

If you're looking for a great night out then Killarney town is the place to be, where many come to celebrate birthdays, hen and stag nights or even just for a memorable night out.

There are many bars in Killarney but two you should definitely visit on your night out are Scotts bar and the Lane bar; both bars are great to start your night and are both very different from each other. The Lane bar which is connected to The Ross hotel is a buzzing bar with great decor and yummy cocktails which are always popular with the ladies. Scotts bar is your typical bar that attracts locals and tourists; people are very friendly in this bar and in the summer bands usually play in the outside area which attracts a big crowd. The Laune Bar and The Vintage are two other very popular bars in New Street.

If you prefer the night club scene then there are four clubs in Killarney: (1) The Crypt which is a part of the Towers Hotel; here you can start your night in the Cube bar and if you fancy a change of scene move into the night club. (2) Mustang Sallys is also a popular night club with locals. (3) The Grand which has a bar and a night club. This bar/nightclub has a very Irish atmosphere with its traditional Irish bar which usually has a band during the week and also at week-ends. (4) McSorleys: this has 3 rooms which consist of a main bar, smoking bar and night club; this bar/nightclub has a brilliant atmosphere and is visited by locals and tourists as McSorleys also have a hotel which is convenient for patrons of the nightclub.

Tatler Jack, The Laurels, Dannymann, O'Donoghues and The Dunloe are all popular traditional Irish bars; the traditional bands playing in these bars is usually advertised in local papers and posters. If you are visiting from outside of Ireland then you should visit a Traditional Irish bar to truly experience Irish Culture.

Killarney is known all over Ireland as great place to spend your night out. There are so many options from clubs and pubs which include modern and traditional Irish bars. Also there are always events on in the Gleneagle INEC on Muckross road including plays, bands, musicals, and other acts. You will always find something to do at night in this brilliant town and there is always a great atmosphere and many events on all year round, especially during the summer time.
