Parties come and go left and right. Now that the holidays are here, we often host parties all the time but sometimes, the guests we have invited will have something to tell but are most likely too polite to tell you. Here are some of the things that guests have on their minds but won't tell you.
Allow your guests to feel free to eat at their own space in the table. Sometimes we are too busy with the preparation of the food and how good it will taste and we begin to neglect that our guests will also need space for them to eat. Free up some space on the table.
Always be upfront when it comes to your guests list. There might be instances that your guests would bring in some friend and you end up having a slight lack of food. It is much better that they know the size of the party and the guest list so that they can make amends.
Same as having enough space for the table for people to eat in. Make sure that you have enough space for your guests to roam around and mingle with your guests. Free up some space at the living room by taking out the main living room table.
Parties are usually made for us to gather friends and family. So it is much better that we are in a more festive mood. If you are not in the mood for being festive then why throw a party in the first place?
Always make an effort in cleaning your bathroom. We all know that guests will criticize our living room, our Christmas tree, our hallway, but the bathroom will always take a beating. Make sure that you have cleaned your bathroom through and through.
Keep your pet away from the house as long as party is still on. Chances are, some of your guests are not welcoming when it comes to pets and would like to have them tucked away. So, you might as well keep them at the doghouse during the party.
Remember that if you cannot afford to host a party, you might as well not have one. We all know that we are trying to be in the festive mood by throwing a party but if our budget does not allow it, you might as well have the family gather and have a simple dinner.
