Putting Practice Tips

By Zach McPherson

Did you ever get tangled up in difficulties like this? It's a typical enough difficulty but most people in this predicament won't talk about it for fear of ridicule. They struggle on from day to day, stressed out with worry and totally powerless to think of the best way out or how to solve it.

What is going on right now? Why don't we examine it in closer. Maybe it will include some of the following points. Maybe, you will be able to add some of your own points to the discussion. The main focus will be on improving your putting game.

At this point why don't we examine exactly what has prompted the present problems. I keeping adding up tons of strokes on the green. Now although your problem may be a challenging one, there are a few feasible solutions to it. You might have already thought of a few or even all of these, but let's have a closer look at them. These are just alternatives, you don't need to reject them out of hand, or accept any of them just yet, because each one of these is going to be looked at much more closely. Your first possibility is to practice until your hands are sore.

Another option is for you to buy a new putter. A common problem is that some people have putter that are not balanced right or they are too short or too long. If you spend a little bit of money then you can get a new putter and fix some of these problems.

Make sure to learn some putting drills. That way these can be done no matter where you are. They can be done at your local putting green which is usually free and sometimes even at home. The cost of this is not very much so it is an especially good option.

Finally, I would create a practice schedule that includes a lot of the past options. This will help you stay focused and keep your eye on the goal of better putting. Since you will be learning new drills this will help you when you are bored.
