While the US is a great place to live, one of the hardest decisions for many people traveling here to make is what city to visit. This is certainly not easy to do, as there are so many great options. Whether you are looking for culture, great eats, nightlife or entertainment, there is are a number of cities in the US that have you covered.
The following are some must visit cities in the United States of America.
Any list of American cities has to include New York City, so let's just get it out of the way now. Everyone already knows that New York is one of the best cities to visit in the world (as long as you don't care about weather) and if you have never been, you must.
Los Angeles is another great American city, but for different reasons. Aside from the fact that this is the world capital for the movie industry, Los Angeles happens to be a great city geographically as well. There are mountains, desert and beaches all within an hour's drive.
I would be remiss to include a list of amazing American cities and not mention The Big Easy, or as it is better known, New Orleans. New Orleans holds a special place in my heart. Since several of my family members went to school down there, I was fortunate enough to visit a few times over the past few years.
Another awesome place to visit if you have children that are in need of a vacation is Orlando, Florida. Between Disney World and Universal Studios, there is enough to do here to keep any child busy.
Over on the West Coast, my personal favorite city is San Diego. The weather is always perfect, with crystal clear skies and beautiful beaches. Trying the fish tacos in San Diego is a must.
Another charming city for anyone looking for a nice quaint vacation is Charleston, South Carolina. I can't even begin to describe how lovely this town is, and if you find yourself in the South it makes for a great time.
