Host an Awesome Company Christmas Party This Year

By Lyndon Perkins

Christmas is listed as the favorite holiday by many people. With the home decorations, shopping, and presents, the most memorable event to take place during the Christmas holiday season is often the Christmas party. When you host a Christmas party for children, even the mere mention of such words can work them into an excited frenzy. The adult reaction is often much more subdued, but the spirit of the holidays is often enough to motivate everyone to try to make a memorable Christmas party. If you prepare a great Christmas party, you will be sure to create Christmas memories that will be important and cherished by everyone.

A popular game for Christmas parties is called the Christmas Kiss. Don't be discouraged just because of the name. It is not really as scandalous as it sounds and is safe for company parties as well. To begin you divide your team of guests into two groups. The person at the beginning of the line puts on gloves runs to a candy bowl and picks out a Hershey chocolate kiss. While wearing the gloves, they must unwrap the candy, return to the team and feed it to the next person in line. The next person then puts on the mittens and starts the endeavor.

The other game is similar but two people from each team go. Instead of a candy dish there is a present in need of wrapping. Watching two people trying to wrap a present with mittens on is funny, especially when they try to use the Scotch tape.

One last game that can be played is called Christmas carol charades. In this game, you obtain a stack of index cards and write down the names of different Christmas carol songs. One player then reads the cards and acts out the Christmas song for his or her team. When the team believes that they have correctly identified the song, they must sing it in order to win the round.

These are just three of dozens of Christmas party games for adults. There are many, many more that can be implemented for christmas party planners. Some are uniquely Christmas and others are a seasonal version of a party game. It won't matter. Once you get everybody laughing and enjoying themselves the party will be a big hit.
