A Great Deal to Do and See On a Holiday to Wales

When the majority of people think about going to Wales, be it for a brief trip or maybe for a vacation, they normally picture the wonderful green countryside and terrific landscapes. However if you want a bit more from your break, you will love what Wales has to offer.

If you want have fun on a short city break, then the Welsh capital city of Cardiff will be the place for you to visit. If you want all the entertainment and pleasure of some of the best bars and clubs, the Cardiff Bay area is perfect. In case you are interested in a slightly more sedate pace, go to the impressive Cardiff Castle, or perhaps the numerous galleries, museums and various other sights, and make the most of what this amazing city has to offer.

With lots to see and do in Wales, you'll have a hard job determining just one location to visit, but it will certainly be worth it when you do. There are many great hotels in Wales that you can choose from, with a wide range of activities and multiple facilities in each.

Sporting enthusiasts are going to have plenty to do and see if they visit the area. A proud rugby nation, you can go and watch a match at any of a number of top Welsh clubs, or perhaps even watch the national team at the spectacular Millennium Stadium. If you'd prefer sports with a little more pace, the Welsh Rally occurs each year and promises plenty of thrills and exhilaration.

A great deal of Wales is beautiful open countryside offering fantastic landscapes and scenery, which is something that interests a large number of visitors each and every year. Whether it's the challenge of climbing Mount Snowdon, or the less ambitious aim of enjoying some time exploring the gorgeous National Parks, there's always plenty to do if you love to be in the fresh air.

Getting outdoors and experiencing some fresh air as well as fantastic surroundings is easy to do once you take a trip out towards the coast. From taking a look at the dolphins swimming around Cardigan Bay, to spending a bit of time wandering along mile after mile of some of the best beaches in Britain, there is lots for you to see and do, which makes the Welsh coastline a very popular destination with visitors.

From the modern hotels at the heart of Cardiff that are fantastic for a weekend city break, to small and cosy cottages out in the country side where you can get away from it all, you will find lots of choice with regards to finding somewhere to stay that will make certain your trip to Wales is just what you need it to be.

Offering some of the very best scenery in the UK, exciting cities if you happen to want a bit more excitement, and lots for all to do, Wales is a terrific place to visit.
