Finding Cheap Holidays Tenerife Style

By Jasmine C. Griffiths

When it comes to cheap holidays, Tenerife is one of the most popular destinations for Brits who want the very best deals on their holidays, and one of the most visited islands of the Canaries - and the second most popular holiday destination for Brits, second only to the Spanish Island of Majorca in the number of people who go there each year.

Tenerife attracts different people for different reasons, with some going for the absolutely buzzing nightlife with many clubs and bars for all types of people, and some go for the nice scenery and to eat in nice restaurants, and others are happy just to sit on the beach and relax all day before heading out at night. This is helped by the fact that they weather is incredible for the entire year, and some people have even been bold enough to say that it may have the best weather anywhere! It is hot but not too hot due to the breeze from the Atlantic Ocean, so even those who struggle in heat can enjoy the lovely weather.

Mount Tiede is an old volcano, that it now dormant of course, that you can climb up to see a panoramic view of the whole of Tenerife, which can be a very stunning site. This is the complete opposite of the bustling tourist centres where people are always moving from bar to bar which is where the main bulk of the island tourism is. You can go for a time out from all that if you want

The whole economy of Tenerife, like many other tourist destinations is based solely on the tourism industry, and the whole point of it all is to make you come back, so they want you to have the best time possible. Most people do have a great time and do indeed return, sometimes even in the winter for some heat then! You should compare the many different packages on offer which will get you a good deal if you have patience, and negotiate on discounts too.

Nine million annual (and for the most part, extremely happy) tourists can't be wrong, after all, so for cheap holidays, Tenerife is an obvious choice - make sure you shop around for the best holidays to the island.
